MBTA reduces commuter rail service, cuts weekend ferry service

Fall 2020 commuter rail ridership was down roughly 92 percent compared to the previous year, while ferry ridership fell 88 percent, according to the MBTA.

MBTA distributes free face coverings to commuters

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has begun distributing free masks during popular commuting times as part of their campaign to prevent coronavirus transmission.
