Core — a single word with many meanings. But for Boston University Student Government slate BridgeToBU, it spells out the four fundamental words fueling their mission: community, outreach, response and empowerment.

Vivant Vintage opens second location on Newbury Street, aims to “dress everyone”

While Newbury Street is known for drawing in large crowds on weekends, a line of shoppers took over the sidewalk as they waited for Vivant Vintage’s new location to officially open March 1.  Justin Pomerleau, owner and CEO of Vivant Vintage, opened the business’s flagship store in Lower Allston in 2014. Opening a location on Newbury Street has always been a dream of his.

Blowout loss to Colgate latest in four-game skid for women’s basketball

The Boston University women’s basketball team suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Saturday, this one a 71-51 drubbing at the hands of Colgate University. It was yet another loss on the road, dropping their out-of-town record to 4-8.

Men’s lacrosse steamrolls Monmouth 15-6, Kohr scores six

On Valentine's Day, Boston University’s men’s lacrosse team had a date with Monmouth University at Nickerson Field. The Terriers (2-0) emerged victorious Friday evening with a final score of 15-6, thanks to junior attacker Jimmy Kohr’s career-high six goals.

North Carolina residents are facing unprecedented destruction and loss in the wake of Hurricane Helene. In response, students in Boston University’s Crowdfunding and Distribution class launched a crowdfunding campaign on Nov. 14 to support those impacted.

What began as a lighthearted comedy about a boy’s journey to fulfillment quickly evolved into a thought-provoking narrative that explored the illusion of perfection and the interplay of fate and free will. BU student journalists across mediums work tirelessly to bring election coverage to campus
