In public school private ESL programs and public English classes, both adult and K-12 ESL students are struggling with their education. Younger students in particular have difficulties adjusting to the in-home learning environment.

Mayor Marty Walsh said he hopes to present a reopening plan within the next two weeks - nearly nine months since schools first closed due to the pandemic.
