Ballot error delays Wheelock StuGov election by one week

A technical error meant Wheelock students were not able to vote in their individual college government elections.

Massachusetts on path to regulate student loan servicers

The Massachusetts Senate passed a bill Wednesday that would give students a loan “bill of rights,” despite demands from President Donald Trump’s administration to not go forward with this type of legislation.  
The Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, a state student loan agency, has broken off its memberships with the National Council of Higher Education Resources. Massachusetts agency breaks off from national loan servicer amid controversy

The Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, a student loan servicer, separated its relations with the National Council of Higher Education Resources Wednesday, claiming that they are rolling back protections for student loan borrowers.

Individual advising underway for transitioning Wheelock students

Starting in the fall of 2018, Wheelock College students will transition into the Boston University community as part of a merger announced in in October. In order to make the transition process go smoothly, BU and Wheelock faculty members are providing specialized academic advising to transitioning Wheelock students.
