Teaching finance-specific math, like compound interest and investment related probability, could have a much more direct impact on people’s lives. A lot of people don’t have the luxury of generational financial knowledge.

Back in September, an FDA advisory panel ruled that a certain nasal decongestant, known as phenylephrine, has been found ineffective when taken orally. Phenylephrine is found in common cold medicines like NyQuil and Benadryl. 

A couple weeks ago, Gov. Ron DeSantis came out with new COVID-19 vaccine guidelines for Florida residents: Anyone under 65 shouldn’t get the new booster. DeSantis’ suggestion is a striking contrast to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidelines that recommended everyone over six months old should get the booster.
