Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker announced an initiative last week to raise awareness about the illegality and dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

City recommends community preservation projects

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh and the City’s Community Preservation Committee presented their list of recommendations for projects to receive funding from the Community Preservation Act this coming fall. The list included a total of 56 projects costing $34 million in total.

BU student organizations hosted an African Diaspora Cultural Dinner at Warren Towers Dining Hall Tuesday evening, featuring traditional cultural dishes as well as informational displays about African culture arranged throughout the dining hall.
