City Council Candidate Julia Mejia defeated opponent Alejandra St. Guillen to win the fourth and final City Council at-large seat after a close race in November triggered Boston’s first recount in 20 years.
While Michelle Wu, Annissa Essaibi-George and Michael Flaherty were all reelected, the winner of the fourth councilor at-large seat remains to be seen, as candidates Julia Mejia and Alejandra St. Guillen were separated by only 10 votes.
