‘They don’t know who we are’: Part-time faculty union advocates for better treatment from BU

Part-time faculty consists of adjuncts, lecturers and instructors. Collectively, part-time faculty unionized in 2015 and are still raising awareness about their current job instability, low wages and lack of institutional support as they feel that BU is unresponsive to their needs.

BU community holds multimodal protest against campus reopening plan

Adjunct professors negotiate renewal of contract with Boston University

Boston University is currently negotiating a new contract with adjunct faculty and their representative union, Service Employees International Union Local 509, after their three-year contract initially expired in August, a union representative said.
