BU officials talk differences in summer housing, remote jobs for third LfA session

Household tables removed from BU dining halls

Household seating options were meant for students to sit down and dine with members in their specific “household” — such as roommates and floormates. The change in seating availability comes during a general downward trend in COVID-19 cases on campus in recent weeks.

Students in some on-campus residences face stricter COVID-19 protocols this semester

Since the Fall, students living in on-campus dormitories have been expected to form “households” within their residences and establish COVID-19 residential protocols on mask-wearing and social distancing based on each other's personal preferences. However, some students were sent a stricter set of residential COVID-19 protocols by their resident assistants for the Spring semester than in the Fall.

BU to begin screening COVID-19 tests to identify new variants

Boston University has been given approval to start sequencing all positive COVID-19 tests to scan for the newly identified variants of the disease, according to a member of BU’s Medical Advisory Group.
