Boston City Council votes to promote equity in marijuana industry

A City Council bill passed Wednesday to shift who in the city can operate marijuana businesses. The licensing process will favor those deemed by various criteria to have been disproportionately affected by weed prohibition in the past.

Medical marijuana patients will be able to purchase cannabis vaping products on Tuesday

This comes after the Massachusetts Superior Court ruled that the state Department of Public Health did not have the authority to regulate cannabis vaping products used by medical marijuana patients.

Brookline dispensary to begin selling recreational marijuana

Marijuana farmers consider legal action over agreements with host communities

The Massachusetts Grower Advocacy Council announced Tuesday that it is considering filing a lawsuit against the Cannabis Control Commission to push them to enforce the law when it comes to required agreements between marijuana businesses and the towns where they reside.
