Boston University men's and women's basketball coaches, Joe Jones and Marisa Moseley, are both members of the Patriot League Anti-Racism Commission. On the commission, Jones and Moseley work toward anti-racism with the Patriot League community.

The Patriot League created the Anti-Racism Speaker Series for its athletes and fans. Boston University professor Paula Allen gave the first speech in the series.
