After allegations of discriminatory comments, Boston University College of Communication writing professor Tinker Ready is under investigation, according to several documents and emails obtained by The Daily Free Press.
BTU had filed an injunction earlier this month, requesting that teachers be allowed to teach remotely while the City’s positivity rate remains above 4 percent.
Proponents of several proposed ballot initiatives will begin the final stage of their petitioning efforts Wednesday to secure spots on the November 2018 ballot. The proposed ballot questions include a gradual minimum wage increase, paid family leave for working individuals and balanced nurse-to-patient ratios in Massachusetts hospitals.
Gov. Charlie Baker said Tuesday that he hopes lawmakers, not voters, will determine the fate of minimum wage and paid family leave in the state. Baker’s comment has left many unhappy about the possible insinuation that the people should have no say in the matter.
