Softball heads to Colgate for final 2018 regular season series

After their 15-game winning streak was snapped in extra innings by Bucknell University Sunday afternoon, BU will look to crush the gas pedal on a new winning streak when the team travels to Hamilton, New York to face Colgate University this weekend in its final regular season series of 2018.

After its must-win game against the College of the Holy Cross last Friday night to take the final spot in the Patriot League playoffs, the Boston University men’s lacrosse team proved that it wasn’t ready for its season to end after a 12-11 upset over No. 10 Bucknell University Tuesday night.

Despite the 38 degree rainy weather and a headwind of 10 miles per hour on Monday, 30,087 participants — runners, wheelchairs and hand cyclists — were signed up to participate in the 122nd Boston Marathon.

No. 20 men’s hockey to host UConn in Hockey East quarterfinals
