Museum of Fine Arts to reopen Wednesday

MFA virtual event inspired by art, celebrates diversity

The Museum of Fine Arts held it's fourth "Art in Tune" event on Tuesday — the first-ever virtual model of the annual performance. Artists performed selected or composed pieces inspired by MFA artwork exhibits, with some focusing on diversity and empowerment.

Students explore ‘ancient worlds’ through virtual museum tour

MFA brings art, stories of female artists to life in all-female exhibition

August marked the 99th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote in the U.S., and the MFA has been working to pay homage to underrepresented women who changed art in an effort to include more “diversity, inclusion, and gender equity” in their exhibits, according to the museum’s website.
