Miami ends BU field hockey season with 2-0 loss

The Boston University field hockey team fell 0-2 in the NCAA opening round against Miami University Wednesday afternoon, ending its 2018 season.

Field hockey wins Patriot League, moves on to NCAA tournament

The No. 22 Boston University field hockey team won the Patriot League conference title, capping off an undefeated season by defeating Lafayette College Friday afternoon and American University Sunday afternoon in the championship game,, and will move the team onto its 14th NCAA Tournament appearance.

Illinois road trip a chance to break .500 for field hockey

After splitting the opening four games of the 2018 season, the No. 19 Boston University field hockey team will be looking to force a winning record during a road trip to to Illinois, where the Terriers faces off against Miami University and No. 12 Northwestern University.

A man was charged with making calls threatening to shoot and kill reporters at The Boston Globe, the Globe reported. The man, Robert Darrell Chain, reportedly called Globe reporters “the enemy of the people,” following the newspaper’s nationwide editorial campaign protesting President Donald Trump’s rhetoric against the press.
