Women’s soccer 2018 season ends in NCAA match

The Boston University women’s soccer season ended Sunday after Louisiana State University eliminated BU (11-7-4, 7-0-2 Patriot League) from the NCAA Tournament in a penalty kick decision, becoming the first NCAA match in nine years to require the tie breaker.

50th consecutive unbeaten match earns women’s soccer Patriot League championship

The final win of the Boston University women’s soccer Patriot League season mirrored its first: a 1-0 victory over Lehigh University. This time, the top-seeded team left Nickerson Field with the Patriot League Championship trophy in-hand.

In the Boston University women’s soccer team’s final match of the regular season, BU earned a 1-0 victory over Colgate University, breaking the Raiders’ seven-game winning streak and securing the Patriot League regular season title.

Wheelock social work undergrads to attend Simmons College, live at BU

As a result of the scheduled June 1 merger between Boston University and Wheelock College, more than 100 current Wheelock students will be moving to the Charles River Campus. Some of these students, those looking to complete a Bachelor of Social Work degree, will become Simmons College students despite living on BU’s campus.
