Massachusetts voter turnout deemed highest in state history for midterms

Massachusetts experienced the highest number of ballots cast in state history for a midterm election, with over 2.7 million votes cast Nov. 6, according to Secretary of State William Galvin’s office.

MassHealth restructured, begins student loan repayment program for health care providers

In order to structure MassHealth into smaller care organizations, $37 million was given to improve existing programs in primary care and behavioral health across Massachusetts. As a part of this, they will allocate a portion of their federal funding for a student loan repayment program for health professionals who are involved with this.
