After six years of little to no progress, City Realty sold the lot of 76 Ashford St. to BU this June. Approved by the City of Boston Planning Department, the project by real estate developers, City Realty, will feature 254 residential units and 1,875 square feet of retail space, along with bicycle storage and off-street parking spaces.

The MBTA and MassDOT announced they will provide shuttle bus service to Somerville’s 18th annual “What The Fluff” Festival on Sept. 23, while Green Line service to Union Square Station is shut down for the second year in a row, transportation officials said in a public meeting on Tuesday.

MBTA reaches multi-year agreement for implementation of AFC 2.0

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has reached a multi-year agreement on their Automated Fare Collection system. The new cashless system is designed to increase speed along the green line through convenient payment options, all-door boarding, tap-on payment for all vehicles and increased accessibility.
