Cannabis Control Commission sued over new delivery license regulations

To prioritize disenfranchised communities — who have faced disproportionate harm from marijuana enforcement and prohibition — the CCC limited delivery licenses to economic empowerment and social equity applicants for three years.

Final regulations, guidelines released for recreational marijuana industry

Regulations for the cultivation and distribution of recreational, adult-use marijuana in Massachusetts were finalized by the Cannabis Control Commission Friday, ahead of their March 15 deadline.
In light of an ordinance that creates buffer zones between marijuana dispensaries and that was signed by Boston Mayor Martin Walsh on Monday, public records show that dispensary owner Patriot Care has been donating funds to the campaigns of public officials.
