It’s rivalry time on the BU Softball Field. The Boston University softball team will welcome Boston College to Allston Wednesday afternoon and look to continue its recent stretch of dominance, which has included eight consecutive wins.

Six wins in six games over the past weekend in the impromptu Nor’easter Invitational saw the Boston University women’s softball team raise its win percentage to .533 and push its record to 16-14.

A disappointing 1-4 result at the Louisville Slugger Tournament left the Boston University women’s softball team with an 8-12 record on the year with just over two weeks before Patriot League play begins against the United States Military Academy on March 31.
