BU Libraries encourage student engagement through social media

To compensate for the lack of resources available to students over winter break, the BU Libraries Instagram account catalogued students’ holiday reads, highlighting the importance and persistence of reading outside of the classroom.

BU’s Young Democratic Socialists of America branch want acceptance and change

Watching the most recent Democratic debates, and even the presidential race at large, democratic socialism has become a focus for candidates and voters alike. Presidential hopefuls like senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren (in addition, BU alum and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) have been vocal progressives in their time within the political system. On campus, their ideas have found resonance.
