Boston University Clubs and organizations in the surrounding city have demonstrated a commitment to supporting women in a variety of fields, curating connections and confidence in aspiring professionals.

BU’s Institute for Health System Innovation and Policy held their first installment of IHSIP’s 2021 Nexus Series on Wednesday about healthcare entrepreneurship, with a creative twist.

The 2020 documentary “9to5: The Story of a Movement" — directed by Oscar-winning duo Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar — highlighted the '70s women's movement in Boston where secretaries from across the city protested against unfair wages, sexual harassment and inequalities in the workplace.
