The Minnesota Wild have disappointed so far this season, giving up a total of 20 goals and losing all three games they've played in so far. With a free agency littered with poor moves in an effort to free up cap space, the Wild have not proved that these moves were beneficial.
Corbett noted that social media has also played a major impact on the sport — both good and bad. Because of social media, people are now more easily able to follow hockey, Corbett said, and just having the coverage is a great thing for the sport.
