Student artists-in-residence at Innovate@BU to create exhibit encouraging students to slow down

College of Fine Arts seniors Angela Lian and Jay Li — the newly selected artists in residence for Innovate@BU’s 2021 IDEA Conference — plan to create a permanent exhibit at the BUild lab inspired by their desire to encourage students to slow down and appreciate time.
A traveling exhibition curated by graphic designer Jerome Harris is currently on display at the College of Fine Arts’ Stone Gallery until Feb. 19. Graphic design students put up community-engaging installations

Professor Kristen Mallia teaches several graphic design courses in the College of Fine Arts. For a final project for some of her classes, students were required to take the designs they had been working on all semester and build an installation in a public place on campus.
