Fiesta en la Plaza, a series of events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month held by Ágora, closed with Salsa Night at the Civic Pavilion in Government Center on Friday.
Boston City Council officially proclaimed Oct. 11 as Hispanic Flag Day in the City of Boston during their weekly city council meeting, celebrating the occasion by honoring a Hispanic leader from each of the councilor’s communities.
The Boston Public Library has been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which started Sept. 15 and ends Monday, with a themed booklist, Latinx Life. The library also held cultural events around the Boston area.
