Ask Abby (Or Analise): Are all men really trash?

Analise Bruno March 2, 2025
I’m kidding, but it's important to remember why we sometimes make generalizations as a society. Not all bees will sting you, but still we’re scared of bees. Ask Abby (Or Analise): Networking your way into someone’s heart

Analise Bruno February 2, 2025
No one really thinks of turning to LinkedIn, and I can’t really blame them — it’s academic-facing, and has always come across as being “strictly business.” Yet, the more I toiled with the idea of LinkedIn being a one-stop shop for all things romance, I couldn’t help but wonder: could this be the revolutionary answer to modern dating troubles?

The dating scene has changed drastically over the past decade. One-in-five partnered adults under 30 say they met their current spouse or partner on a dating site or app. What once was a chance encounter at a local coffee shop has now become a pastime enjoyed in the comfort of one’s bed. You swipe, read for a few seconds, scroll and delete as people become items in an online shopping cart.

Analise Bruno October 11, 2023
Dear Abby: How much should a person be dating? I always feel like I am either dating too much or not dating enough, it seems like everyone has an opinion on everyone’s dating life.

Romance is not the only form of love

Lea Rivel September 18, 2023
It seems as though romantic love is presented as being the only way we can find fulfillment — but getting to know who you truly are outside of the context of how you appear to others is essential to self development and, ultimately, self love.
