Societal pressures plague us all the time, especially in the age of the internet where everything is documented and publicized — can’t we have one day a year off?

Stuck in a TikTok rut this morning, I scrolled past a girl in a tin foil dress dressed as a Chipotle burrito. Students all across the country are getting creative, but can they beat the celebrities and their iconic renditions? I’m here to feature 10 that I think could give everyone a run for their money — or in this case, candy. 

Perhaps Wintour chose Lagerfeld to be the man of the evening because of his ties to a big-name brand like Chanel — but I wonder, shouldn’t morals come above prestidge? Do we really want to conflate Lagerfeld’s controversial legacy with that of the renowned Met?
