The Trump administration weakened the Endangered Species Act, lowering the protections surrounding threatened species and making it easier to remove species from the endangered species list.
Over 100 clean ups have been scheduled throughout the state, as thousands of volunteers are expected to give their time and effort to help clean up the Massachusetts' beaches.
