MBTA reduces commuter rail service, cuts weekend ferry service

Fall 2020 commuter rail ridership was down roughly 92 percent compared to the previous year, while ferry ridership fell 88 percent, according to the MBTA.

Baker designates over 100 Massachusetts neighborhoods ‘opportunity zones’ for investment

In an effort to generate long-term investment in low-income areas, on April 19, Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration proposed 138 neighborhoods across Massachusetts, including Boston, become “Opportunity Zones.”
