BU aspiring female directors are “game changers,” determined, despite national lack of representation

The Academy Awards have come under attack for their lack of recognition of female directors and has faced criticism for hindering women’s ability to make a name for themselves in a male-dominated industry. But female directors within the College of Communication look to the industry with hope and determination despite the challenges of the past.
