BU Ph.D. students are facing tough choices regarding Fall semester, as not returning to campus could mean forfeiting the University-given stipend meant to compensate for their restricted ability to take on paid employment during graduate school.

Nancy Ammerman, associate dean of the faculty for the social sciences in Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences, will be stepping down from the position at the end of the academic year.
