Yahia Bakour, a senior in the College of Engineering, was named the Vice President of Growth to Stock Alarm in January after inquiring about features he thought were missing in the application. The app provides real-time stock alerts to users by calling them within a minute of any change users specified.

BU’s BizTech Hosts Tour of Google’s New Cambridge Office

On Friday, 20 Boston University students toured Google’s Cambridge office space. Immediately upon entering the building, attendees noticed a fire pole situated in the middle of what looked like a typical office space.

National Hazing Prevention Week has prompted members of Boston University Greek life to return to their tables at the George Sherman Union Link — only this time, the purpose is not to recruit members, but to raise awareness about hazing on college campuses.
