Boston University students express concern over President Donald Trump’s mass deportation efforts after he signed an executive order Jan. 20 allowing federal immigration agents to enter “sanctuary” spaces, including schools.
From April 12 to 15, The Boston University ResLife Union went on strike. The union decided to strike during the long weekend since there was both admitted student events and the Boston Marathon happening.
A water main break resulted in students to be evacuated from 115 and 117 Bay State Road Saturday night. The flooding has caused students to be housed elsewhere while repairs are being made.
Monday night, a meal plan program for Muslim students participating in Iftar was discussed and various funding requests were approved at the Boston University's Student Government meeting.
