American Protest: America, you failed during this pandemic.

Within the past few months, the uglier side of America was brought out with the hatred, fear and ignorance that the current President and his supporters spew. Yet one of the most disheartening things to watch is the selfishness with which Americans have acted.

BU’s dynamic response to the COVID-19 outbreak

BU President Robert Brown announced classes would be held online from March 16  to April 13 as a result of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in an email March 11. The same day, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a pandemic, prompting BU to announce that remote learning would extend through the end of the Spring 2020 semester March 17.

BU’s recovery plan aims to bring students back in fall

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, BU has closed their campus for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester and made efforts to keep it relatively empty during the summer as well. With the goal of opening campus back up in the fall, the university announced the creation of their COVID-19 Recovery Plan on Friday.
