New England Council calls for doubling of Pell Grant

The entire concept of leadership is arbitrary, varied by culture and thus a cause of needless stress. Which is to say, if there were ever a time for universities to loosen their expectations for students and potential applicants, perhaps a global pandemic would be a great start.

The issue of standardized testing is that universities can make it optional, but they can’t get rid of it or the system perpetuating its flaws. We need a fundamental change so all students receive a solid foundational education that starts as early as elementary school.
