After falling behind by double digits for the second time in as many games, junior guard Javante McCoy and sophomore guard Walter Whyte combined for 37 points to lead the Boston University men’s basketball team past the United States Naval Academy, 69-63, Thursday night at Case Gym in the Patriot League quarterfinals.

On Saturday afternoon, the same pattern ensued as BU fell to the United States Naval Academy 62-48 on Senior Day, pushing its losing streak to five games.
