The Boston University women's soccer team, now the No. 1 seed in Patriot League standings, have secured a spot in the PL Tournament after a 1-0 shutout victory over Bucknell University Sunday at Nickerson Field. BU remains undefeated in conference play.

Men’s soccer shuts out first-place Bucknell 1-0

Before the Saturday afternoon kickoff, the Boston University men’s soccer team sat sixth in the Patriot League and hosted a Bucknell University squad tied for first. The Terriers’ 1-0 win over the Bison aligned with the polls and handed Bucknell its first Patriot League loss of the season.

Though the Boston University women’s soccer team (7-7-6, 4-3-2 Patriot League) fell 3-1 to Bucknell University (12-3-5, 5-1-3 P L) in the Patriot League Semifinals, the Terriers had a notable 29th season. With a nearly even number of wins, losses and ties, 2023 saw exciting games if not unabashed success.
