It’s understandable that the government was unprepared for the crisis and vaccine supplies are low nationwide. It’s up to Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and the federal government to increase supply to meet the demands. However, the state should re-evaluate its distribution plan so it is more equitable for all.

BU’s marketing — and the handful of diversity victories — it clings to is not representative of its reality. Though it may be implementing anti-racist policies, the change is not visible in classrooms, on campus or at an administrative level.

With the cancellation of Spring Recess, Boston University has scheduled “Wellness Days” set for Thursday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 31 to give the school community a break midway through the semester, according to University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Jean Morrison.

In the post titled “BU’s Poor Treatment of Faculty (and Students),” Shupe describes how he was forced to quit his job teaching in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Writing Program due to inadequate pay. Shupe taught at the University for seven years and received his Ph.D. from BU in 2019.
