To believe that just because someone lives in a certain country means that they unequivocally support their government’s policy decisions or should face the same restrictions and punishments that their political leaders do is stupid.

The marathon demonstrates how Boston traditions continue to persevere and connect us during a time of severe isolation. Perhaps it can also inspire us to fight against the COVID-19 fatigue and keep us Boston Strong through the last stretch of the pandemic.

Runners stay hopeful after another Boston Marathon postponement

The 125th Boston Marathon is postponed until fall of 2021 at the earliest, after 2020’s in-person race was also postponed then canceled for the first time in its history.
