Duke University’s 85-81 overtime loss to the University of Kansas Sunday night meant more than just one of the nation’s top teams getting abruptly knocked out of the NCAA Tournament. I am a huge Lonzo Ball fan. Plain and simple. It’s only natural, growing up just outside the Los Angeles area, that my blood is a mix between Los Angeles Lakers’ purple and gold, and University...

What in the world? Yep, that was my first reaction when my phone started blowing up around 12:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon. As I sat in Boston University’s West Campus dining hall, I was engulfed by text messages, notifications and phone calls from other die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fans who wanted to discuss what had just transpired.
