Umoja through the years — a home for Black students at BU

Umoja, Boston University’s Black Student Union chapter, was founded in 1967 as an organization and home for Black students on campus. More than 50 years later, Umoja has evolved into what is now an ever-growing umbrella organization that brings together other Black student groups at BU.

Drinking culture at BU neutral to some students, concerning to others

BU Greek life participates in National Hazing Prevention Week

National Hazing Prevention Week has prompted members of Boston University Greek life to return to their tables at the George Sherman Union Link — only this time, the purpose is not to recruit members, but to raise awareness about hazing on college campuses.
