Various realms of the music industry are brought together in Charli XCX’s remix album, “Brat, and it’s completely different but also still brat,” released on Oct. 11.  The album features numerous artists — ranging in genres from indie tunes to emo rap all fused in an astonishing reconstruction of Charli XCX’s sixth studio album, “Brat.”  The album features Robyn, Yung Lean, Bb trickz, Ariana Grande, Jon Hopkins, Troye Sivan, Addison Rae, Caroline Polachek, Bladee, A. I spent all of high school looking forward to college, and time is now going by too fast, which is leaving me fearful that I might not soak up every second of it. Although at a different point in her life, Musgraves understands that feeling. “Deeper Well” takes listeners on a 14-track journey of acceptance, and each song made me feel more seen by a musical artist than ever before.

I’ve been following the band Big Thief ever since the release of their fifth album back in February 2022. When I saw that their frontwoman, Adrianne Lenker, had her own extensive discography, I had to check her out. Upon listening to her various singles and albums, I ended up finding who I consider to be one of the best living songwriters out there. In honor of her greatness, I’ll be reviewing her sixth studio album, which was released late last month, “Bright Future.”
