Captioning technology, as well as interpreters, should be available for every single performance on Broadway and in theaters around the world. There is no excuse as to why translators should not be hired for all performances. It is completely unfair to deny show dates and shows to attend.

Theater performances are meant to provide audiences with enjoyment and escape, while also bringing to light universal themes that connect us all — the general public shouldn't have to be concerned about antisemitic protests while attending Broadway shows.
We must not only reduce the stigma around the art of performing, but also open a discussion about the adverse effects that descend from harmful labels placed on those in the industry.
